On 19th June we said good bye to our very special Friend of John Leigh Park, Professor David Jolley.
Just after noon the funeral cortege moved slowly along Oldfield Road by his beloved JLP, past a gathering of friends and acquaintances who turned out to pay their respects. The cortege continued onto Altrincham Crematorium for the committal.
Afterwards a memorial service was conducted at Altrincham Methodist Church which was full to overflowing with family, relatives, friends, colleagues and others whose lives David touched in so many ways. Wonderful tributes and life stories were shared during the service and gave just a glimpse of a very full life lived.
Rest in Peace David, we miss you already.
